Here we are at the end of another year! How can this be possible!?! Seems that we get to this point of the year more quickly with each passing 365 days!
We have had a full couple of weeks enjoying having all the "kids" home for vacation. Jenelle and Derek were scheduled to depart for Raleigh today at noon... but Derek got ill with the flu yesterday, so they've changed their flight to tomorrow. The boys and Angelina will fly out tomorrow as well, heading back west to CA... we'll now be saying goodbye to all 5 of them at Midway Airport at once. :-(
Maybe it's better to not drag out the farewells.
Hopefully, we'll get a photo of all of us together before they leave and I'll add that to this blog.
Be safe this New Year's Eve... and may your New Year of 2008 be filled with much happiness and Kingdom purpose! ;-)
Call it my "thinking spot," if you will. This is where I reflect on Life and what makes the world go 'round.

Christmas cards... not mailed yet!
It looks like it will be another Christmas without me sending out Christmas cards...again! I got to thinking that maybe I could just email friends and family and refer them to this blogspot...to see photos...and maybe I could post an "update" on our family. Maybe I'll do that tomorrow...rather than later "today"....since it's 2:22 AM! For now...peruse the photos. :-)
Good night.
Good night.

It's Winter...and Christmas is coming!
We have a pretty blanket of snow... We're going to have a break in the bitter cold temperatures and get up to 36 degrees this weekend...maybe even 40.... but it will dip down to the 20's probably by Monday.
Anyway, the real center of attention is Advent: Christ the Lord coming to earth to dwell with us...to be one of us...yet perfect, without sin...so He would be the perfect substitute for paying the wages for our sin. Praise God for His unspeakable Gift!
Have a Mighty Christmas!

Surprised
I just discovered this: I have a blogspot! I did not know that...or shall I say, I must have forgotten! Well, it's good to "learn" new things each and every day! Happy December 1st, everyone!
