In the spirit of being grateful to the Lord . . . I praise Him for how He directs and provides so I can follow in HIS steps, even when that seems to go 180 degrees in the opposite direction I thought I should be going! I've heard it said that "where God guides, God provides."
So I choose to follow HIM, to go where HE wants me to go, and be what HE wants me to be. I don't need to know HOW HE will provide; I just need to trust HIM, obey HIM, and follow HIM!
"Oh, Lord, You have been good, You have been faithful to all generations!" (Twila Paris song)
The song "Time in a Bottle" just came to my mind (!) b/c I'm thinking about how FAST time flies by...oops! there just went another second, and another, and another!
STOP!
Oh, it won't stop!!!
Guess that's why the Lord tells us to "redeem the time".... use it while we have it!
Call it my "thinking spot," if you will. This is where I reflect on Life and what makes the world go 'round.

"Attitude of Gratitude" or "1000 Gifts"
In reading someone's eblog today I was reminded to revisit Ann Voskamp's blog. I like the way she writes. She has a "challenge"for this year of 2012 that she has posed for us: write 3 things every day for which you are thankful... so by the time we reach the end of this year you'll have well over 1000 things on your list! Well, I'm getting a late start here... but IF I were to do this every day for the rest of this year, I'd end up with 1026 items on my list! So I'm thinking I'll jump in on this! :) It would also be fun if I could take 3 pictures per day of those things.... "Pretty lofty goals, Herb!" Well, I can try!
